Welcome

Welcome

One of the hardest things about living through change is that we often cannot see it while it is happening.

We notice the difficult days.

We notice the moments we checked again.

We notice what still hurts.

What we often miss are the quieter shifts happening underneath.

The Scroll Tracker was created to make those changes visible.

Not to judge you.

Not to score you.

Not to force you to stop.

Simply to help you see what is changing while you are living through it.

Because what we can see clearly is often easier to understand.

And what becomes easier to understand is often easier to carry.

This date becomes Day 1 for your Tracker.

Milestones and reflections will be calculated from this date.

Your Day 0 Snapshot

Your Day 0 Snapshot

Before you begin, take a moment to capture where things are today.

These three questions become part of your six-month record.

On Day 180 you'll answer them again and see what has changed.

Complete all three questions to save.

Your First Reflection

Your First Reflection

You have spent a week noticing your own pattern.

Now is a good moment to capture where things feel today.

These ten questions will become your starting point. Every reflection from Day 30 onwards will be compared with this one.

The numbers you choose today are not scores. They are a record of where things are right now, so that when you look back in a month or six months, you have something real to compare with.

Tap the circle to leave a score of 0, or drag it to the number that feels right for you today.

Complete all ten questions to continue.

These answers become the place you'll return to throughout the rest of your Tracker.

How to use this

Check-in
Today's Check-In is the full daily record.
It asks a short set of questions about what happened, what you checked, what was happening just before, what you hoped to find, and how you felt afterwards.
Most people complete it in a few minutes.
Quick entry
Quick Entry is for days when you want to record how many times you checked without completing the full check-in.
If you complete a Quick Entry, you can still return later and complete Today's Check-In.
If you complete Today's Check-In first, Quick Entry becomes unavailable until tomorrow.
Scroll Reset Cards
For moments when you need something right now.
Browse by category or draw a card.
Every card contains recognition, reflection, a pause, and optional tapping.
The cards remain available throughout the day, even after your daily check-in has been completed.
I wanted to check but didn't
A simple way to record the moments when the urge arrived but you did not act on it.
Tap once and it is recorded.
You can use this as often as needed throughout the day.
My Journey
Your record over time.
Change can be difficult to see day by day. My Journey helps you notice patterns that are easy to miss while you’re living through them.
My Journey keeps your Full Check-Ins, Quick Entries, Scroll Reset Card use, “I wanted to check but didn’t” entries, and milestone reflections together in one place.
Rather than showing every event individually, My Journey brings the day together so patterns become easier to see.
Over time it helps you notice: what you checked most often, common triggers, what you were hoping to find, which Scroll Reset Cards you returned to, and how often you recorded “I wanted to check but didn’t.”
A few things worth knowing
Your record is stored on this device and in this browser. If you clear browser data, switch devices, change browsers, or use private browsing, your record may be lost.
Create a backup regularly if you would like to keep a recoverable copy of your Tracker record. Export creates a readable copy, but it cannot restore the Tracker.
There are no right answers. There is no correct way to use this. The only rule is honesty.

A snapshot of today

Before you begin, take a moment to capture where things are today.

Three short questions.

There are no right answers.

Over the coming days, the tracker will begin noticing patterns in your entries and quietly reflecting them back to you.

After your first week, you'll complete your First Reflection.

After that, you'll complete a short reflection every 30 days so you can see what has changed over time.

On Day 180, you'll answer these same three questions again and read the words you wrote today.

Sometimes seeing where you began helps you notice what changed while you were living through it.

These questions will appear again at Days 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 so you can see how things have shifted.

Please answer all questions to continue.

Three more questions. You will be asked these again on Day 180. The gap between your two answers is where the change lives.

FAQ

Why can I only complete one check-in per day?

The Tracker is designed to create a daily record over time.

Completing one check-in per day makes it easier to notice patterns, triggers and changes that might otherwise be difficult to see.

What if I miss a day?

Nothing happens.

The Tracker continues based on calendar time. Missed days remain missed days.

You can simply continue from the current day when you return.

Why does the Tracker open on a different day than my last entry?

The Tracker follows calendar time rather than completed entries.

If you miss several days, the Tracker opens on the current day of your journey rather than the day after your last entry.

What is the difference between Today's Check-In and Quick Entry?

Today's Check-In creates a full daily record.

Quick Entry records only how many times you checked. You can still return later and complete Today's Check-In.

What is "I wanted to check but didn't"?

A simple way to record moments when the urge to check was present but you chose not to act on it.

You can use it as often as needed throughout the day.

What are Scroll Reset Cards?

Scroll Reset Cards are short reflections designed for moments when you feel pulled back into checking.

They remain available throughout the day, even after your daily check-in has been completed.

Where can I see my entries and reflections?

Open My Journey.

Entries shows your day-to-day record. Milestones lets you revisit your First Reflection and completed milestone reflections, comparisons and insights.

Is my information private?

Yes.

Your Tracker record is stored on this device and in this browser. No account is required. Your Tracker record is not sent to Darcy Dawe.

How do I save a copy of my Tracker record?

Use the Backup button.

A backup creates a copy of your Tracker record that can be stored safely and restored later if needed.

We recommend creating a backup from time to time, especially before changing devices or starting a new chapter.

What happens if I change devices?

Your Tracker record does not automatically move with you.

Before changing devices, create a backup and save it somewhere safe. You can then restore that backup on another device.

What is the difference between Export and Backup?

Export creates a readable copy of your entries and reflections. It cannot restore the Tracker. Backup creates the file used to bring your record back if you change devices or lose the data stored in this browser.

What is the difference between Entries and Milestones?

Entries contains your day-to-day record.

Milestones contains your First Reflection and your longer milestone reflections, comparisons and insights across the 180-day journey.

Can I start again?

Yes.

Open Options and choose Start a new chapter if you would like to begin a new 180-day journey.

Before starting again, we recommend creating a backup if you would like to keep a copy of your existing Tracker record.

Starting a new chapter permanently removes the current Tracker record from this device.

Six Months

You’ve reached the end of your six months with The Scroll Tracker.

Congratulations.

Not because every day was easy.

Not because every entry showed progress.

And not because there is a finish line for something like this.

Congratulations because you stayed curious about your own experience.

Over the past six months, you captured moments that are usually forgotten:

the urges,

the questions,

the days that felt heavier,

and the days that felt a little quieter.

What changed, and what didn’t, belongs to your story now.

Thank you for spending these six months here.

Your record remains here whenever you wish to return to it.

Where would you like to go from here?

Save a complete backup of everything you’ve captured over the past six months.

Begin a new 180-day journey.
Your completed Tracker can be restored whenever you wish to revisit it.

Your current Tracker record will be permanently removed from this browser.

This cannot be undone.

Then and now

Then and now

Six months later, you answered the same questions again. Here is what you wrote — then and now.

Looking at these two entries, what do you notice?

Something may have changed. Something may still feel familiar. You can leave a note about either. (optional)
